Corporate Headshots in London: 35 BESA Staff at Hilton Bankside
Corporate Headshots in London: 35 BESA Staff at Hilton Bankside

Thirty-five staff headshots, fitted around a morning meeting, with edited photographs delivered before I left the venue. That was the brief for my recent shoot with the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) at Hilton London Bankside.
I travelled from Leicester to London with my full headshot kit, ready to bring the studio to the team. With everyone already gathering at the hotel, it was a good opportunity to update their photographs without organising separate appointments.
An early start to fit around the team
I arrived at 8am to get everything set up and ready for the first headshots at 8:30am.
BESA’s morning meeting was due to start at 9:30am, giving us an hour to photograph as many people as possible before it began. Most of the team were photographed in that first window, with the remaining staff coming through during the meeting break.
For a shoot like this, the schedule matters as much as the photography. People have somewhere to be, and the headshot session needs to fit comfortably into their day.
Getting set up early meant we could start on time and make the most of the space in the agenda.

Bringing the headshot kit from Leicester to London
Behind the scenes at Hilton London Bankside: my portable headshot setup for photographing 35 BESA staff around their morning meeting.
Being based in Leicester doesn’t mean every shoot takes place close to home. For this booking, I brought my full kit to London and set up at the hotel where the BESA team were meeting.
That is one of the useful things about on-location corporate headshots: the photography comes to the people.
If your staff are already together for a meeting, conference or team day, it can be a practical time to arrange new headshots. The key is to plan the photography around the event, allowing time for setup and identifying suitable windows for staff to step in front of the camera.
At Hilton London Bankside, the time before the meeting and the break gave us those opportunities.

Edited and delivered while I was still on site
The photography was only part of the job. I also edited and delivered the images while I was still at the venue, with everything wrapped up by 1pm.
For BESA, that meant the shoot and delivery were completed during the same visit. There was no separate wait for the finished photographs after the event.
The timing worked well for this particular booking. If you need a quick turnaround for your own team, mention it when you enquire so we can build the right amount of photography and editing time into the plan.
Planning headshots around a meeting or team day
This shoot is a useful example of what can be achieved when headshots are planned alongside an existing staff gathering.
We photographed 35 people, worked around the morning meeting and completed the editing and delivery on site. An early setup and a clear timetable helped everything fit together.
If you’re arranging a team meeting in London, Leicester or further afield, it’s worth considering whether that gathering could also be an opportunity to refresh your staff headshots.
