Actor Headshot, corporate headshot, business portrait, portrait photographer Leicester

Nottingham is home to a wide mix of professional services, corporate teams and creative businesses — all of which rely on making a strong first impression online.

Whether it’s your company website, LinkedIn profiles or marketing materials, professional corporate headshots help present a consistent and credible image across your team.

I work with businesses across Nottingham to create relaxed, natural headshots on location, keeping the process simple, efficient and easy to manage.

Who I Work With

Most of my headshot work in Nottingham is with:

  • Law firms

  • Accountants

  • Financial advisers

  • Consultants

  • Corporate teams

  • Creative and digital agencies

These businesses often need consistent, high-quality headshots across their team for websites and client-facing materials.

On-Location Headshots in Nottingham

Rather than sending your team to a studio, I bring a portable studio setup directly to your office.

This allows for:

  • Consistent lighting and background

  • A professional finish across the whole team

  • Quick sessions (around 3–5 minutes per person)

  • Minimal disruption to the working day

For many companies, the entire team can be photographed in just a couple of hours.

Areas I Cover in Nottingham

I regularly photograph businesses across:

  • Nottingham city centre

  • Lace Market

  • Hockley

  • Nottingham Business Park

  • Beeston

  • West Bridgford

A Style That Fits Nottingham Businesses

Nottingham’s mix of corporate and creative industries often calls for headshots that feel professional but still approachable and modern.

My approach is focused on helping people feel at ease quickly, so the final images look natural and confident rather than overly posed.

When Companies Typically Book Headshots

Most Nottingham businesses get in touch when:

  • Their website is being redesigned

  • The team has grown or changed

  • LinkedIn profiles need updating

  • They want a more consistent brand image

I often get the question, “Whats the difference between a headshot and a portrait?

The main difference between a portrait and a headshot, is that a headshot is a picture of a person's face. Its purpose is to identify someone, to see what their face looks like. A headshot is a professional representation of the subject for the desired use of the photograph, LinkedIn, social media, about us pages etc.

A portrait on the other hand is something much more personal. A portrait is a likeness of a person to identify them, but it also tells you something about the person - or the personality of the person in the picture. It's an artistic representation of the person.

The lighting is quite different, headshots benefit from softer lighting that doesn’t create harsh shadows on the face or make prominent features stand out. With portraits you can afford to be slightly more creative, dramatic and allow more contrast.

If you are in business then having an excellent headshot is a must. There are so many people competing for business and jobs that getting noticed and standing out from the crowd is essential. Whether it is on your website or social media profiles, a professional headshot will help get you noticed.

We often judge and make assumptions about people in a split second. So the way you look and the way you dress is important.

For your photo shoot it’s nice to have several changes of tops. Simple plain clothing with different necklines and colours, including white and black, work best. This puts the emphasis on you as a person and gives a stronger visual impression.

To look professional, men should wear a jacket, shirt and tie. The tie can be removed for a more casual look. A blouse with a jacket looks more professional on women. The jacket can be removed for a softer more casual look. I also recommend having some shots in casual clothing to get a variety of images for different purposes. I have several different colour backgrounds to compliment your outfit.
